Security Deposit

Our guests are required to provide a pre-authorisation on a credit or debit card upon arrival. The pre-authorisation amount is £25 per apartment and is to cover any extras or incidents that may occur whilst you are staying with us. Please note that a pre-authorisation is not a payment and is held by your bank and will be released to you upon departure if no incidences occur whilst you stay with us. Depending on your bank the pre-authorisation may take up to 9-10 working days to be released.

Do you have a Car Park?

he Haymarket Hub Hotel offers onsite parking which is managed independently by YourParkingSpace. Please note that car parking is chargeable and is available on a first-come-first-served basis. You can reserve a parking space and make payment by visiting their website. All payments are cashless and to be made via YourParkingSpace as we cannot process any payments via the hotel. Please contact Support@yourparkingspace.co.uk for any payment issues relating to the operation of the car park. One of YourParkingSpace’s customer service team will be able to assist you with any issues or questions that you may have.

Bike Storage

Do you have bike storage?

The Haymarket Hub Hotel does have bike storage to the rear of the property but guests are notified that they leave their bikes at their own risk and we cannot take any responsibility for the loss or damage that may occur. Haymarket Station is directly opposite the hotel and has a bike storage facility which is lit throughout the night and has CCTV surveillance in place. This facility is free to use and can be seen from our front-facing rooms.

The Haymarket Hotel is located opposite Haymarket train station. Trains from the station serve much of Scotland, including Fife and Glasgow, as well as suburban lines to the east, and the East Coast Main Line through to London King’s Cross.

What is the digital guest companion system and how can I access it?

Our digital travel companion allows you to manage your reservation via your device. Whether you require information about your upcoming reservation, need to obtain an invoice from a previous stay, or want to learn more about our hotel or services our digital companion makes it simple. The system also enables you to check-in and out online helping you to reduce your time at the reception desk. As well as these useful functionalities you can also add various enhancements to your stay.

You will be provided with a link to our travel companion system (Voyager) within your reservation confirmation and pre-stay emails. You can access our travel companion system at any time pre-stay, whilst you are staying with us, and post-stay.

What safety procedures are in place?

​Here at the Haymarket Hub Hotel, the safety, comfort, and well-being of you and our team is our main priority.
Therefore, we have acted, in line with the government’s guidance, to ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable stay at our Hotel.
These changes include the introduction of social distancing measures in hotels, the provision of hand sanitiser plus safety screens, and limiting lift usage.
We’re also continuing to deliver the highest standards of cleanliness across all of our hotels and introducing increased frequency of cleaning for high touch areas.

We’re committed to ensuring every area of our hotels is cleaned to the highest standards and that’s why we work with external Health & Safety consultants Saeker. To give you peace of mind when you stay with us we’ve also introduced additional measures such as more frequent cleaning of communal areas, adding a safety seal to rooms post-cleaning, and allowing 72 hours between each room use. We are constantly monitoring and following the changes in recommendations and guidelines of the local government and health authorities, to continue working towards providing the best service possible while ensuring the safety of our guests.

Here are some of the changes we have made

  • Cashless service – Contactless & credit card payments are only accepted to reduce unnecessary contact
  • Be greeted by our ambassadors through a safety screen at the front desk, this is for extra protection for our guests and team.
  • Hand sanitisers are available in all public areas, and all surfaces are regularly wiped down and disinfected.
  • Lift usage will be limited to 1 person or household at a time
  • Room seals will indicate your room has been cleaned and no-one has entered since being cleaned.
  • Our breakfast service will consist of prepacked boxes consisting of a continental style breakfast
  • Snacks, drinks, and takeaway hot coffee will still be available to purchase on a cashless basis.
  • Our Contactless limit is 45GBP.
  • You can order through Deliveroo or Uber Eats delivery, just ask them to pop it in the designated area for contact-free delivery. Remember to keep an eye on your app so you know when it has arrived.
  • Our linen undergoes a high-temperature cleaning process and is laundered to the highest standards.

Children of any age are welcome and will need to be accompanied by an adult throughout their stay. All cots are subject to availability. The minimum age for check-in is 16.

The Edinburgh Collection is a small portfolio of hotels in Edinburgh, UK. Your personal information is shared with the hotel where you intend to stay and those of its employees involved in delivering the service to you to the extent necessary for them to do so and to process the transaction. All hotels that are managed by The Edinburgh Collection are required to agree to abide by the terms of this Privacy Protection Policy.

From time to time, we offer packages or other services that involve third parties. If you are partaking in such a package or service, your personal information will be shared with that third party to the extent necessary to provide that service and process the purchase or request.

All data collected through the process of a booking or transactions will be kept for 6 years accordingly to the tax legislation requirement, with the exception of digital Credit Card details which are automatically erased 24 hours after checking out. Physical credit card details will be destroyed within two weeks following check out.

Information provided to us in such a fashion will be used solely to record your comments, communicating with you in respect of them, reviewing them with the subject hotel and hotel personnel, to recognise employees for excellence of service delivery, and for developing improvements in service delivery.
